Edgar Busiega brings joy to KCPE candidates at Shitirira Primary School

Parents and education stakeholders of the best performing public primary Shitirira school in Malava constituency of Kakamega county have heaped praises on renowned lawyer and Advocate of the High Court Edgar Busiega for his move to cater for lunch expenses during the exam period and buy examination equipments for candidates who are to sit their exams this year.

Busiega who paid a visit to the school that is situated in Chimuche ward of the Constituency during a prayer session for the candidates handed cash and the equipment to the school management under headteacher Anne Imasaja and school board of management which was represented by retired primary school headteacher Isaac Lumbasi who serves on the board as vice chair.

In his address,Busiega urged pupils to remain focused on their goals so as to achieve academic success at the end of their education.

While noting that an educated society is empowered, Busiega added that parents should not regret ever investing in their children’s education be it a girl or boy child saying they hold a key to the economic future of their families, country and the world.

He added that education is the only equaliser where a child of a peasant farmer can share a table with that of the president.

On his part, the vice chair Lumbasi applauded the efforts by Busiega to remember school going children in his daily undertakings saying the community appreciates individuals who gives back to the society and that he has a promising future through communal prayers.
