Frederick Chiveti now new Isanjiro Assistant Chief
Residents of Isanjiro sub-location in the township location of Kakamega North district now have a substantive Assistant Chief following the inauguration of Frederick Chiveti in an event presided over by Everlyne Ario
The position fell vacant following the retirement of Rose Burudi in December 2023 after serving for over 15 years.
In her address, Ario urged the residents to work in hand with administrators for better service delivery.
While promising to join the fight to end the rise in insecurity in the area and illicit brews, Chiveti called for cooperation from members of the public even as he maintained that he will work in respect to the rule of law.
His first plea to the people was the need for them to register with the newly launched government’s Social Health Authority (SHA) medical scheme, saying it would serve them better.
