Kabuchai Women’s Group gets KSh500K boost from Lusaka

Governor Kenneth Lusaka has donated KSh 500,000 to the Kabuchai Queens Women Group to support their table banking activities and a goat-rearing project

Speaking at the function held in Mukuyuni Ward of Kabuchai, Lusaka commended the resilience and enterprising spirit of Kabuchai women, urging them to stay focused and united in their development journey.

“This is more than financial support ; it is an investment in the economic strength of our mothers, sisters, and daughters,” he said. “By embracing table banking and agribusiness, you are not only securing your families’ future but also contributing meaningfully to the county’s economic development.”

Lusaka also encouraged the women to organize into stronger, more productive groups to enhance their access to funding, capacity-building opportunities, and avenues for scaling their ventures sustainably.

The initiative is part of governor Lusaka’s agenda to promote inclusive economic growth and empower marginalized communities through practical, homegrown solutions.
