Lusaka cautions against rising online abuses, calls for responsible social media use

Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on the youth to exercise responsibility while using social media platforms, cautioning against the growing trend of online abuse.

Speaking at ACK St. Crispin’s Bungoma during the New Year’s service, Governor Lusaka expressed concern over cases of social media misuse, particularly character assassination.

Lusaka urged young people to refrain from such harmful practices and instead use social media positively, appealing to parents to take an active role in guiding their children toward upholding moral values.

“It is the responsibility of parents to instill discipline and ensure their children follow the right moral path,” Lusaka emphasized.

Governor Lusaka’s remarks come amid increasing scrutiny of social media behavior, with calls for greater accountability among users.
