Moment of Pride as Samuel Wetungu bags prestigious international Award

Samuel Shitoshe Wetungu, a visionary young leader from Manda/Shivanga Ward in Malava subcounty, Kakamega County has been recognised by Global CIO Forum Committee, the world’s fastest growing Tech Leaders Community, and received his lifetime Global Digital Credentials.

The credentials are in the form of a certificate and a badge, with the title Master emblazoned on it.

Wetungu, who currently works in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) as an ICT advisor to the DPP is in has celebrated the big achievement.

His past working experience having been a director of ICT at Kakamega County and also Kenyas ruling party United Democratic Alliance(UDA) as director of BETA monitoring system and executive affairs where he did a remarkable job, earned him the accolades from the Global Forum.

Also, he worked at Masinde Muliro University as Chief Systems Administrator, Systems Administrator, and Webmaster.

At the Electoral Commission of Kenya as a Web Manager, KenyaWeb.com Ltd as Web Developer. He has also done consultancy work for various organisations around the country on ICT matters.

He is a holder of Masters Degree in Project Management (PMP) Professional (SIIT, USA)
Masters of Science in IT ( MMUST)
BSc Information Sciences (IT Option) Moi University
Certified Big Data Specialist (Huawei Academy, China),
Certification in Data Protection (Strathmore University)
