Edgar Busiega breaks silence after Malulu goons cause chaos at funeral – VIDEO

Youthful advocate and politician who is a hopeful for the Malava MP’s seat in the 2027 elections Edgar Busiega has broken his silence after chaos erupted at a funeral he had attended.

Busiega, who vehicle was badly vandalised and his supporters attacked by people said to be hired goons from outside the Ward, has condemned the chaos saying such political moves are outdated.

Speaking at Kabras Police Station in Malava town on July 19 shortly after the chaos, Busiega admonished the area MP Moses Malulu Injendi whom he said lacks respect and morals as a father figure.

However, Busiega has defiantly said that he will not be intimidated, frustrated or silenced by the MP, who happens to be his relative.

“I think the change we yearn for comes now. He’s my uncle but he can’t do that to me. Which father does such things to his son,” he posed as he addressed the media at the police station where he had gone to record a statement.

He said his only mistake was to attend a funeral to offer his sincere condolences only to be attacked by goons.

He vowed to press for the law to be taken against the goons and their sponsors revealing that one of the goons had already been apprehended by the police.
