Malulu Injendi: Kivaywa Principal Simon Kangwana mourns dear friend

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing on of a dear friend, a brother, a leader, and a loving father to many Hon Moses Malulu Injendi who until his demise yesterday was the member of Parliament for Malava constituency in Kakamega county.

I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for his family and the people of Malava and Kenyans at large.

Please know that you are my thoughts and heart during this immense loss.

Malulu was a cherished leader who put the interest of the people he served first against his.

He also was a brilliant, generous, and down to earth personality who touched the lives of many.

At personal career path,I remember the time he spent at former station Bulupi Scondary school where I had the privilege to serve as the principal on developmental programmes.

As he rests, the school has modern buildings, land and a bus even as he turned it into a home of success.

In my village, Malulu turned Muriola grounds from a bush to the centre of academic excellence with the best structures.

The memories we shared will continue to bring light even in the darkest moments.

If there is anything at all I can do to support the family at this moment of grief, whether it is compassionate, ear, help with arrangements, or simply being present, please, personally I will avail in respect.

Your family remains to be part of me now and in the difficult days ahead.

I wish you and the people of Malava moments of peace and comfort as you grieve.

Simon Kangwana, Principal, Friends School, Kivaywa Boys High.
