Joy at Friends School Mugai as direct university entries tripples

Friends School Mugai Secondary in Malava subcounty of Kakamega has posted an improved performance in the recently released national examinations.

Parents and education stakeholders have hailed the school administration under Anne Masheti for supervising good results where the number of those who managed direct university entry trippled to 27.

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination results were released late last week, and university direct entry stands at grade C plus.

The school mean score also went up by 0.7 clear indicator that it headed in the right direction academically.

At the same time, the number of tails reduced, and quality grades went up, signalling hard work from both the staff and school administration.

Masheti who is barely two years old at the school applauded the cooperation she has been receiving from stakeholders in her journey towards success and has urged parents to be timely in matters fees payment to enable smooth running of school programs that will steer academic postings to higher levels.

Leaders led by area Member of Parliament Malulu Injendi have thanked school administrators for being committed to the education of children.
