Palang’a denies eyeing political seat as he traverses Webuye West dishing goodies
Peter Wanjala Palang’a is no doubt a household name in Webuye West constituency in Bungoma county.
The Olkaria Member of County Assembly in Nakuru County is stirring warmth in people’s heart following his humanitarian activities mounted across Webuye West Constituency.
In his quest for digital knowledge, over 500 youths have undertaken free information communication technology (ICT) training through his efforts.
The training that was full funded by Palang’a was geared up at equipping the youth with computational thinking and problem solving skills in order for them to succeed in the ever changing digital world.
The youths were competitively selected across the constituency and intensively trained and graduated.
The MCA who was born and brought up in the constituency, has managed to organise free five medical camps where over 5000 residents were treated for various diseases including jigger eradication where 300 victims were treated for free.
Widows in the region have a reason to smile after Palang’a constructed five houses for each with a roof of 32 iron sheets.
He intends to improve living conditions of the poor and vulnerable families.
“Poor people don’t have capacity to build comfortable houses due to poverty level,” he observed.
As he remains the tallest man standing, he has been sponsoring successful sports activities that have kept the youths busy and entertained during holidays.
Palang’a says that the constituency has immense sports and other talents that ought to be harnessed and developed to ensure such untapped potentials do not go to waste.
“I have also mapped out various innovative plans to uplift youths, elderly and widows across the constituency,” he posed.
However, Palang’a has delinked his humanitarian gesture from9ll 2027 politics.
