School fees relief for Malava KMTC students as Ndakwa makes move
Tuition fees for students joining Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Malava Campus will be paid from the Malava Constituency Fund kity
Area Member of Parliament David Ndakwa said over the weekend that the move is aimedd at boosting students enrollment at institution that was opened late last year by President William Ruto.
“Enrollment at Campus is not satisfactory. The institution has 149 learners at moment. We want the push the numbers to 200 hence the need to fund those willing to join the college to improve on enrollment,” said Ndakwa.
Ndakwa said this during a fundraising meeting if aid Malanga SDA church towards the construction of the church.
Over Shs 1.7 Million was raised with President Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet who was the chief guest sending Shs 300, 000. Other contribution were from Joshua Shitikho from the office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi sending Shs 100, 000 with Ndakwa giving Shs 50, 000.
Ndakwa vowed to unsure inclusivity of all residents in as he executes his mandate stating that divisive politics will deter development in the area.
He said: “I am the Member of Parliament for Malava and promise to serve all people equitably irrespective of whether they voted for me or not. I will embrace everybody in my leadership.”
He called on local leaders and residents to take part in the development of the area stating Constituency kitty alone could not be able solve areas problems.
