“Though our hearts ache, we choose to celebrate” Governor Ken Lusaka mourns death of his mother

The family of Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka is in mourning following the passing of his beloved mother, Lay Canon Rhoda Namaemba Lusaka.

“It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Lay Canon Rhoda Namaemba Lusaka, earlier this morning,” Lusaka shared. “A beacon of strength and grace, Mum has been the unwavering foundation of our family since the loss of our father in 1995. Her faith in God and steadfast dedication to the ACK church never wavered, even in the most challenging times.”

The late Canon Rhoda Namaemba Lusaka was not only a dedicated mother but also a renowned educator who devoted her life to shaping young minds. Her work extended beyond the classroom, as she was a committed member of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), actively serving as a synod member.
