Lugari MP on a roll as he commissions series of new classrooms, promises more

Lugari member of Parliament Nabii Nabwera will, on Friday October 4, commission eight new modern classrooms at Comprehensive Majengo Primary School and thereafter lay a foundation stone for construction of other modern classrooms at Lake Basin Comprehensive Primary School.

Nabwera, who has rolled out a robust education plan, intends to ensure that all schools in his area do away with mud-walled classes in an operation dubbed “Ondoa matope.”

Apart from decent classrooms, Nabwera nicknamed Mr Maghorofa is working on an education plan for needy but bright children where streams have been reserved in most schools in the area to accommodate students whom he pays full fees for and this has endeared him well with the electorate.

The comprehensive scholarship programme that was introduced last year has seen over 1,400 bright but needy students both in local and others in national schools get support.

He believes education is the key equaliser in life and he is committed to investing much in it.

A down to earth leader, Nabwera has proved to be a true people’s servant as he traverses the constituency ensuring equitable resource distribution in all areas as promised during campaigns and already the ground has started giving him salutations for the good work.
