Barasa starts mega ODM branding, revival in Kakamega

Kakamega County Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Chairman Governor Fernandes Barasa has today started the mega programmes of branding and popularising the party in the entire county from the grassroots level.

Barasa intensified branding of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) in Kakamega County in a quest to ensure the party remains vibrant.

Speaking at the Shianda market, where he opened the ODM office for Mumias East Constituency, Barasa announced a plan to establish similar offices in the remaining 11 constituencies to revamp the Party in the County.

He appealed to leaders to exercise restraint and avoid early campaigns as engaging in such activities prematurely could significantly disrupt the delivery of vital services to residents.

The governor clarified that offices created in each of the 12 constituencies will ensure that the party remains visible up to the grassroots level across the county.

He faulted a section of elected leaders for failing to deliver on their mandate while focusing on early campaigns.

The party officials thanked President William Ruto for supporting Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s AU Commission Chairperson candidacy, while supporting the move to form a broad based government.
