Luhya Base Mathare endorses Tim Wanyonyi for Nairobi Governor 2027

The Luhya Base Mathare Community-Based Organization (CBO) has officially endorsed Westlands MP, Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in 2027 General Election.

This endorsement was made during a courtesy call to Hon. Wanyonyi at his private office, where the CBO leadership expressed gratitude for his continuous support and outlined plans for future collaboration.

Founded in 2020, Luhya Base Mathare CBO plays a critical role in supporting its members through various welfare initiatives, including school fees assistance, rent support, NHIF contributions, and backing members with political ambitions.

Speaking during the visit, Anthony Were, the Patron of Luhya Base, thanked Wanyonyi for welcoming the team and pledged their full support for his 2027 gubernatorial bid.

He added that the MP had committed to supporting a key project for the organization.

George Ouma Odinga, the Chairman of the group, highlighted Wanyonyi’s consistent backing for their initiatives and emphasized the community’s readiness to rally behind him.

Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, in response, thanked the Luhya Base team for their trust and support, pledging to work closely with them to empower the community. He called on the group to unite in building economic strength for the Luhya community and reiterated his commitment to delivering effective governance if elected.
