MP sets KSh100k reward for best teacher in major motivation

It is kshs.100,000 reward for every teacher whose subject will hit the 7.5 mean score mark at Friends School Kivaywa Boys High School in Lugari Constituency, Kakamega County.
This is from area MP Nabii Nabwera who made the promise said it will serve as a motivation to hard working teachers whose efforts have in the past not been recognised.
Nabwera who graced the institutions Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 15, also took the opportunity to state that he will disburse KShs 30million towards the construction of modern dormitory at the school.
This was well received by parents and education stakeholders present who have hailed the first time MP for his efforts towards academic excellence in his constituency.

The school, he said has put in place academic programmes aimed at improving results and asked parents to support by timely school fees payments.
He also warned parents against cash fees payments saying all fees should be channeled to school accounts for proper records.
