Ruto, Mudavadi congratulate Malava MP-elect Ndakwa

President Willima Ruto has congratulated newly elected Malava MP David Ndakwa who delivered the victory for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

President Ruto is the party leader of the UDA party and through Prime Cabinet Secretary (PCS) Musalia Mudavadi and his private aide Farouk Kibet, mounted a well-oiled campaign that led to the party’s victory.

“Your victory is a powerful reminder to us that we are bigger and better as a country when we are united,” said Ruto in a statement.

On his part, Mudavadi termed Ndakwa’s victory as a ‘new chapter’ in the leadership of Malava constituency.

At the same time, he noted that the victory showed how the Mulembe nation is solidly behind President Ruto and his administration.

“Your victory reflects the growing confidence the people of Western continue to place in the Kenya Kwanza administration led by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto and offers an early glimpse into the political mood ahead of the 2027 elections,” he stated.

Mudavadi also commended the team and supporters who ensured Ndakwa emerged victorious and urged Ndakwa to now focus his energy to delivering his promises to the people of Malava and hit out at the Opposition in a thinveiled attack.

“It’s a powerful reminder that the loudest voices don’t always carry the day, real strength lies with the silent majority, who quietly but firmly shape the future at the ballot,” he said.
