Lusaka congratulates Ndakwa, advises him to remain faithful to Malava people
The Governor of Bungoma County Ken Lusaka has congratulated David Ndakwa on his election as the new Malava Member of Parliament (MP).
Lusaka, who helped campaign for Ndakwa, urged the MP-elect to now ensure he remains faithful to the aspirations of the people of Malava to to always be humble.
He noted that Malava people had expressed confidence in him and elevated him from the position of Member of County Assembly (MCA) to Member of National Assembly.
“We all stood by you, and today we celebrate with pride as the people of Malava elevate you from MCA to MP. This journey speaks to your hard work, your resilience, and the trust the community has in your ability to serve with integrity and vision,” Lusaka said.

“As you step into this new chapter, may you remain faithful to the aspirations of the people who have entrusted you with their voice. Do not betray that trust. Lead with humility, courage, and an unwavering commitment to development, unity, and service to all,” he added.
The governor made a series of trips to the constituency to solicit for votes on behalf of Ndakwa as he met business groups and addressed rallies where the response was massive.
At the same time, Lusaka congratulated the MCA-elect for Chwele–Kabuchai Ward, Eric Wekesa.
He described the newly elected MCA to the County Assembly of Bungoma as a committed leader who has passion for service to the community.
“The people have spoken, and they have spoken loudly. Welcome to the leadership of Bungoma. I look forward to working together as we serve our people and continue building a greater Bungoma,” he said.
