“Muvele Fuyingwa”, Seth Panyako tells Malava residents

A clip doing round on social media where the Kenya National Union of Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako has termed residents of Malava constituency as foolish has caused a stir and many want him to apologise.

In the clip that was shot when the former Democratic Action Party of Kenya in the recently concluded Malava by-election candidate was checking in at the former Kakamega senator Cleophas Malalah’s football tournament, he is heard saying “Valuhya nofuyingwa” loosely translated to mean Luhyas are foolish.

Panyako was reacting to the decision by the electorate to vote for a United Democratic Alliance party candidate David Ndakwa who emerged victorious after garnering 21,624 votes against his 20, 210 in the November 27 by- election.

He is said to be considering going for the Kakamega county senatorial position in the year 2027 even as his close associates are said to have advised him to quit politics.
