Key allies abandon Panyako, throw weight behind Ndakwa
Kenya National Union of Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako’s campaigns for Malava parliamentary position has been dealt a blow after his key supporters Chikamai Wandika and Barasa Lumukwana decamped to join the United Democratic Alliance party aspirant David Ndakwa.
The president William Ruto aide Farouk Kibet held functions differently to welcome the two in the team, and now it is clear UDA candidate campaigns have received a major boost.
Also, the government has initiated several projects in the area, among them three water projects with one near completion, last mile connectivity program where most homes even grass thatched are to be connected.
Kibet, on the other hand, has launched the repair of most roads in the area among them Kambi-Lukume, Tande-Muriola, and Tumbeni-Shitirira.
Also, many schools are being constructed and repaired courtesy of personal support of Kibet among them Lugusi, Lunyinya, Muriola, and Malava primary and this has endeared him well with the electorate who say he is touching lives of many future generations.
Kibet held empowerment harambees across the seven wards of Malava, where several self-help groups were supported with funds to start businesses.
