PAG’s Magale Secondary shines despite teacher shortage

Pentecostal Assemblies of God sponsored Magale Secondary School in Shinyalu subcounty of Kakamega maintained good performance in national examinations despite the shortage of teachers.
Despite this challenge it has faced for years, Principal John Lusamamba has his best to get more teachers posted to the school to address the shortage.
Board of Management (BOM) chairman Professor Lucas Shamallah hailed the results that saw a good number of students getting direct university slots with quality grades and numbers going up.
The school has over years recorded good performances in national examinations, and Shamallah attributes it to the mutual working relationship between the administration of the school and teachers.
He has promised even more good results in this year’s exams, saying the institution is headed in the right direction.
The school principal hailed teachers and parents for the good rapport they have had with the school, saying it also contributes to the positive growth of the school.
He also extended his appreciation to the area leadership for giving the institution a good political will, hence creating a good environment for prosperity.
