Lusaka honours veteran politician Nathan Munoko in style

Governor Kenneth Lusaka has announced plans to name a road in Bungoma after the late veteran politician Nathan Walialula Munoko, in recognition of his remarkable contributions to Kenya’s political and social landscape.

Speaking during Munoko’s funeral service in Kiptogot,Endebess, Trans Nzoia County, Governor Lusaka praised the late leader as a progressive visionary whose impact transcends generations.

“We gather here to honour and celebrate the extraordinary life of Hon. Nathan Munoko, a man whose legacy is etched in the hearts of many that he came across. Nathan was more than a leader; he was a beacon of hope, a steadfast advocate for the vulnerable, and a true servant of humanity,” said Lusaka.

Munoko, a distinguished statesman, served Kenya as a Minister, Assistant Minister, and Member of Parliament. Known for his unwavering focus and pioneering spirit, he left an indelible mark on the nation’s history while inspiring countless individuals to pursue meaningful change.

Governor Lusaka urged mourners to emulate Munoko’s dedication to public service, describing his life as a testament to selflessness and visionary leadership.

The decision to name the road after Munoko, Lusaka noted, is part of ongoing efforts to preserve the legacy of leaders who made significant contributions to Kenya’s development.
