Kivaywa Boys rejoices after improved KCSE performance

Friends School Kivyawa Boys High School in Matete of Lugari Constituency in Kakamega is walking tall after recording an improved performance in the just released KCSE results

The school posted a positive deviation of 0.7, sending 97 students to university directly with more than 240 managing quality grades of C minus and above.

The positive postings in results come barely a year after Simon Kangwana took over as the principal from Wamanga, and many say the school the school is headed in the right direction academically.

Holy family Musembe secondary and Mautuma boys also posted quality grades, each managing to post an A minus grade that had been elusive for years.

Michael Inoka of Mautuma boys, Branon Wakhisi, and Elvis Eshilobele of Holy family Musembe secondary lifted the A minus flag.

Lugari member of Parliament Nabii Nabwera has hailed the schools for their efforts in raising the academic standards in his area saying he will continue investing much in their education programs to ensure they continue excelling as an educated society is empowered.
