Malava MP shreds Gachagua into pieces, reveals how DP frustrated Western Kenya
Besieged Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been frustrating government’s plan to develop the former Western province, it is now official.
In a scathing attack against the embattled DP who is facing impeachment, Malava MP Moses Malulu Injendi revealed how Gachagua has been hindering development projects meant for Western Kenya.
Mr Injendi, was the only vocal MP from the Mulembe nation to state how Gachagua has been frustrating the President William Ruto and MPs from the region from delivering development projects as promised in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto.
Mr Injendi revealed that Gachagua’s ‘shareholding’ comments since he assumed office have been a hinderance for MPs from Mulembe Nation as he always denied them their rightful shares.
The charged legislator said it was unfortunate for the person of the DP to have always been whipping up tribal feelings in the country with his biassness for only Mt Kenya region, his background.
He said that it was the DP’s said ‘snares’ planted at State House that have blocked Mulembe MPs from accessing the President and push for the region’s development.
“Mr Speaker, I wonder how a person holding that kind office keeps on talking of ‘kuweka mitego’ State House for people who did not vote for this government not to access State House,” he noted.
“Mr Speaker, I want to tell the people of Western Kenya that we are suffering from this because of his input insisting, embarrassing the President when he wants to help from western Kenya he says, those people don’t deserve,” revealed Injendi.
According to Injendi, when Gachagua was still active at State House, he used to block MPs from Mulembe nation to access the President.
The MP said he supports the impeachment of the Deputy President.
