Bungoma High School Choir Shines at Regional Competitions, bags prestigious award

Equity Bank has rewarded Bungoma High School for its sterling performance at the just concluded Western region music festivals 2024 held at Butere Girls High School.

Bungoma school Choir has once again demonstrated their musical prowess by scooping five trophies in various categories at the regional competitions was feted by the financial institution as they were announced winners in various categories.

The management of Equity Bank gave out a cheque worth KSh.50,000 as appreciation for the school on its exemplary performance that has seen it slated for the national competition in Eldoret in August.

Appreciating the institution’s achievement the principal Enock Andanje said the school been an all round performer which was setting new standards in the region.

“The journey to this remarkable achievement can be credited to the immense support from my able staff and the two PA and BOM, that has been on the forefront in supporting our school programs all through and this has seen our performance both in and out of class rising to another level band this dedication to both academic and co-curricular excellence has been instrumental in guiding the choir to new heights,” he said.

As the Bungoma High School Choir looks forward to the Nationals, the entire school community stands behind them, ready to support and cheer them on to further success and we are humbled that the entire county leadership is standing and supporting our endeavours as we look forward to clinching the national title.
