Kabula Health Centre to get facelift, CECM Makali says

The Bungoma Health and Sanitation CECM Carolyne Makali has pledged to address the challenges facing Kabula Health Centre in Bumula constituency.

Speaking during a familiarisation tour on Monday, July 15, the CECM observed that the facility lacks land for expansion, shortage of staff and the need to have an ambulance for referrals.

She also called for teamwork among the staffs emphasizing that it will lead to offering of good services.

“We understand the challenges you go through, as an executive we will ensure that some are handled as and when we get funds,” she said.

Kabula health Centre serves over 31,000 people some drawn from the neighbouring counties of Kakamega and Busia.

Present were the Chief Officer health and sanitation Dr. Magrina Mayama, director Dr. Caleb Watta, outgoing Bumula Med Sup Dr. Graham Masika, Kabula MCA Vitalis Wangila, a section of CHMT and SC-CHMT and board members.
