You can’t intimidate me, MCA tells Governor and his allies
Chemuche MCA Geoffrey Sikolia has maintained that he will continue fighting for the people’s interests and not his personal cause insisting he won’t be cowed by threats and intimidation from the Kakamega governor and his cronies.
Sikolia who spoke at the burial ceremony of Christine Imbogo in Kakoyi village, he told off former East Kabras MCA Lazaro Lucheveleli whom he waned against wadinfg into Chemuche ward affairs.
He said he still has a five year-contract with the electorate and that asking for development from the administration of Governor Fernandes Barasa can only be misinterpreted to mean disrespect by his sycophants who want to satisfy personal greed.
Lucheveleli who spoke earlier had asked the youthful leader to respect the county boss telling him to work with him to get development in his ward but Sikolia maintained that it is the constitutional right for every Kenyan to get services and no one is at anyone’s mercy adding he will keep reminding the governor wheneverhe fails or delays to execute his mandate for the people of Kakamega and particularly in his ward.
Sikolia who is serving suspension from the county assembly is also on police radar for leading the Generation Z demonstrations in the county that left four dead and properties worth millions of shillings destroyed with county cars set ablaze.
The county offices also were stoned and this has not gone down well with the county boss.
