PS Inyangala dismisses fake survey, maintains firmly in Kakamega Governor race

Supporters of Dr. Beatrice Inyangala have been asked to dismiss as fake and politically sponsored a publication circulating online claiming that the education principal secretary is eyeing the Kakamega Woman Representative seat.

In a strongly worded statement, Team Dr. Beatrice Inyangala termed the alleged “Western Chronicles Kakamega County Political Barometer Q2 2026 Survey Report” as fabricated and misleading, accusing political opponents of attempting to derail her growing gubernatorial campaign.

The team maintained that Dr. Inyangala remains firmly focused on the Kakamega governor race and has never expressed interest in contesting for the Woman Representative position.

“As the campaign season approaches, we expect more propaganda, misinformation, and attempts to divide supporters. Dr. Beatrice Inyangala remains firmly in the race for Governor of Kakamega County,” read the statement.

According to the statement, the circulation of the report is part of a wider scheme aimed at confusing supporters and weakening the momentum behind her bid for the county’s top seat.

The team further urged residents, professionals, youth groups, women leaders and supporters across Kakamega County to ignore the publication and rely only on official communication channels linked to Dr. Inyangala’s campaign.

The statement comes amid growing political realignments in Kakamega County ahead of the 2027 polls, where Dr. Inyangala has increasingly been mentioned among key gubernatorial contenders.
