Rhyan Injendi, his mother in the soup over arrest of cousin in land fight
The son of the late Malava Member of Parliament Malulu Injendi, Rhyan Injendi and his mother Betty Malulu are on the spot for allegedly instigating the arrest and detention of their neighbour.
The two are said to have ensured that the son of the late Paul Injendi, was thrown behind bars over a piece of land that is in dispute.
The neighbour who is his cousin is now demanding for justice as Injendi and his mother, the widow of the late MP, have trespassed on his land.
The two are said to have gone ahead and fenced it while the man was prison.
The youngman has also complained of failing health after spending two weeks behind bars on instructions of his cousin, Injendi.
Injendi has declared interest to vie for the position left vacant following the death of his father.
He is hoping to land a ticket of the ruling party UDA as he faces over 32 other candidates in the oncoming by-election.
But now locals, especially those from his home turf, now want him arrested and charged for trespassing and harassment.
They also demand that he takes responsibility and take his uncle’s son to the hospital for a proper medical checkup and should pay the hospital bill.
