Farouk Kibet leads mammoth crowd, endorse Ndakwa for Malava MP

Over 5,000 people turned up for a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) campaign rally convened by Farouk Kibet, President William Ruto’s Personal Assistant, on Friday, November 21.

Locals started converging at the venue from as early as 6:30am at the venue in Lukova Village, Manda/Shivanga Ward.

Kibet, popularly referred to as Akhonya, due to his generosity to needy groups, who was accompanied by MPs Emmanuel Wangwe (Navakholo), Innocent Mugabe (Likuyani), Nabii Nabwera of Lugari and party candidate David Ndakwa pleaded with the electorate to vote for a visionary leader in the upcoming by-election slated for November 27.

The seat fell vacant following the sudden death of then area MP Moses Malulu Injendi early this year after a short illness.

The UDA brigade slammed the United Opposition terming it as visionless but only good at hurling insults and abuses at other leaders, especially the Head of State without offering an alternative agenda.

Ndakwa is being seen as a clear front runner in the race and is likely to emerge victorious with a higher margin.
