Support Govt to get more projects, Malava residents told
Malava residents have been asked to support government of the day if they expect to get more development.
The Chairperson of the national government constituency development fund (NG-CDF) Malava constituency Caroline Wawire while leading the cdf team to handover four and two classrooms renovated at Friends Shitirira and Kuvasali comprehensive schools today,insisted that it was only through the government that such projects can be initiated in constituencies.
She warned the residents against falling prey to the opposition tricks saying they will loose terribly in matters development.
The chairperson said the current government was committed in developing Malava in return for it’s support towards government by voting in David Ndakwa of UDA come November 27th and for President William Ruto second term in office respectively.
She said the government side had lots of goodies to offer the Malava residents only if they stay in government and support it’s programs.di
Wawire called on the parents to spread the government gospel to their fellow kinsmen and ensure that they vote for the government side.
“Already we are enjoying the fruits of the government since the death of our Mp and a lot of empowerment programs have been initiated within Malava including schools being rehabilitated, new classrooms, school buses and even tarmacking of roads and we can only appreciate if we stand by the government candidate who is David Ndakwa” she assured.
The Chairperson called on the young people from Malava to support government of the day as it had put in place mechanism that will uplift their livelihood through digital and online jobs.
“Stop being lured by the opposition to fight the government when in real sense, it had nothing to offer to them as an alternative, it is high time you open your eyes and stand with the government and you will reap big”
The NG-CDF fund manager Humphrey Sechero said the office will wait until the by election is over before they can conduct a public participation to create awareness to the residents apply for the 2026 bursary.
“We will delay the issuance of bursary forms as the residents are in the electioneering mood so we will hold on until the exercise is over and we have a new Mp with whom we will work together in the planning and launching of the bursary for the constituency.”
He urged the Malava residents to make good use of the Kenya medical training college (KMTC) by enrolling their children to train and also to get employment.
He also advised the residents to elect a visionary leaders who will transform the constituency to greater heights as per the constitution.
“As a fund manager I’m a civil servant and don not engage in politics but all I wish is that whoever comes to lead us be sober enough and ready to work on transforming this great constituency and I’m already putting my office in order in readiness to welcome the new Mp so that we can commence working for the constituents.”
Sechero confirmed that since the demise of the area Mp, the CDF office has completed 26 projects that were incomplete and handed them over adding that his office was working as normal to give efficient services to the people.
