You’re not welcome, Malava residents tell Khalwale

The residents of Malava constituency have vowed to chase Kakamega senator Bonnie Khalwale from the area if he dares to oppose the president William Ruto administration in the area after which they say is honouring most of its preelection promises to the electorates.

Khalwale, who has zero development record from the time he served as a member of Parliament for Ikolomani constituency which is a den of illicit brew, is said to have been bought by some opposition leaders to join their team.

Led by Chekalini ward member of county assembly Titus Kwoma who is native of the constituency, they said Khalwale ought to respect the president and his team which helped him ascend to power after years on the cold after losing in the 2017 elections.

The residents further accused Khalwale of lying to their leader Soita Shitanda in 2013 that his people would vote for him only for the late to lose the governorship position after being deserted at the last minute.

He is said to be planning to visit the area to campaign for an opposition candidate with George Natembeya as he has not fielded a candidate on his UPM party.

Many say he will milk him dry before again deserting him.

But now his visit is not a welcome this time if the talk in villages is anything to go by with the residents saying that his politics of conmanship will no longer be tolerated.
