Ni wetu: Malava residents heap praises on Farouk Kibet

The Kabras community that resides in Malava has declared that President William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet is one of their own and is welcome in the area as he wishes.

Led by an elder Alphonce Masinde, they have hailed Kibet for his generosity that has left many groups in the area empowered in the recent past through his empowerment drives.

Kibet has moved across the seven wards of the constituency fundraising for different groups where millions of shillings have always been raised, seeing most group members lifted.

The most recent was last week for the over 4,000 person’s living with disability.

On 18th October, Kibet is headed to Manda/Shivanga ward, where he will fundraise for women groups.

The presence of Kibet in the area has placed him in the hearts of the electorates and will have a say on who becomes the next leader to replace late Malava mp Malulu Injendi who died early this year.

He has mastered the Kabras language and always speaks to the people in dialect.

A by-election is to take place on November 27 this year.
