Keep off Malava, rabble rousing Natembeya, Malalah told
Former Kakamega senator Cleophas Malalah and Trans nzoia Governor George Natembeya are among the unwanted guests in Malava constituency.
The two are unwanted for opposing development and empowerment programmes by President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza administration and inciting the residents against the government.
The programmes are being led by Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet and a host of Kenya Kwanza top leadership.
Malala who is the deputy party leader of impeached ex-deputy president Rigathi Gachagu-led DCP recently took to his heels in his attempt to popularise the party in the area after failing to pay hired crowds.
Malalah, has been accused of using the strength of the numbers of the people from the area to bargain with individuals for cash and they have now promised to teach him a life time political lesson.
They also have vowed not to throw their weight behind him like they have done before should he make a decision of going for any county elective position saying they have discovered that he is a con person who hides in politics to blackmail senior people for monetary gains.
On the other hand, Natembeya has been asked to concentrate on serving the people who elected him rather than spent most of his time on car roofs abusing other leaders from the area.
Also, he has been told to be respectfully of his political seniors and warned that his continued attacks on the Kenya Kwanza administration, that has seen many people from the western region appointed to serve in senior positions, was disastrous to future development of the area.
.
The governor is facing corruption related court cases that has seen him fail to report to his office for more than a week now.
The president aide Farouk Kibet has in the recent past visited Malava constituency on development tours, and his visits electorates say are bearing fruits.
Recently, Lugusi Secondary was handed a new bus fully paid by the government, while Samitsi Boys got funds that have been used to repair the bus that had stalled for years.
Their girls counterparts are set to get a new bus, also the same as Kimang’eti Girls who are waiting to get theirs.
Women, churches, and bodaboda groups have also benefited a big deal as funds have been raised to support their activities.
The Malava-Samitsi-Navakholo road has been advertised and money allocated for upgrading it to bitumen standard. This will be a game changer in the area as it is one of the busiest.
The area electorate have vowed to vote in a candidate who is pro government saying they believe such a person will have much to bring in the area than the ‘noise makers’.
