Good news for Western Kenya after Ranger Erambo Foundation officially launched, targets water projects

Ranger Erambo Foundation, a Non Govermental Organisation (NGO), has officially been launched in Kakamega town to oversee the implementation of water projects and sanitation in the community.
Bonface Erambo, the chief executive officer who doubles as the director, said, they are working with partners to connect water to households in the whole of Western Kenya.
A part from implementing water projects is that the foundation also ventures in women empowerment programmes, youth and teens mentorship programmes ensuring that they remain focused on life goals that are beneficial and this has helped in the fight against drugs, unwanted pregnancies and boosted the fight against Sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDs and the climate change initiatives.
The foundation, which was launched, puts in place Trade and Auto expo, which will be an annual event afterwards.
Members of the media were urged to support the initiative that positively touches on the livelihood as the water project goes to villages.
Erambo gives priority to clean water in a fight against waterborne diseases among them typhoid and diarrhoea.
Joseph Njehia, a doctor at St. Raphael medical services in Kakamega said they are working in partnership, and it has been a journey of 5 years since the NGO was founded.
Dr. Njehia said the foundation has a wider range of activities, including medical programmes, with the main aim to help the needy supplied with wheel chairs.
