Barasa assures Kakamega residents of commitment to development

Kakamega County Governor Fernandes Barasa has reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering on promises made to the residents of Kakamega County.

Speaking during an inspection tour of various County projects in Mumias Town, Governor Barasa assured the public that his government is steadfast in its efforts to bring much-needed development to the entire county.

“Do not be swayed by politicians spreading misinformation. We are working tirelessly for the betterment of our county, and the results of our efforts are evident,” he said.

The County boss, with satisfaction, noted that the ongoing upgrade of Mjini, Shibale and Lukoye slums, as well as improvement of Mjini – Emasanga, among other roads, to bitumen standards at a cost Sh152 million, will improve the social welfare and the economy of the Municipality and the larger Kakamega County.
