He was speaking during special interdenominational prayers at Mutsuma Primary School grounds in West Kabras Ward of Malava Constituency, where the UDA party was thanking the electorate for nominating Elphas Shalakha as their flag bearer in the coming ward by-election scheduled for 26th February.
The leader stated that other parties in the country were already showing signs of crumbling and splitting, while UDA continued to strengthen its grassroots support mechanisms.
UDA National Treasurer Japheth Nyakundi assured party supporters that they were working around the clock to strengthen grassroots mechanisms to incorporate new members across all 47 counties.
He said the party was all set to compete with its opponents to clinch as many seats as possible in the coming general election.
He appreciated Malava voters for electing David Ndakwa through the UDA ticket, stating that he was capable of amassing votes for President William Ruto’s second term in office.

He also hailed voters for holding a peaceful nomination that saw Shalakha beat the other five UDA contestants, adding that those who lost would be considered, as they represented the party well at the grassroots level.
Nyakundi assured the UDA nominee in West Kabras that the party would walk with him to ensure he delivers the seat formerly held by Ndakwa, who was elected on a UDA ticket.
“We as UDA are happy with David Ndakwa, as he is already working to catch up with lost time, and we hope that you, being elected as the next UDA MCA for West Kabras, will also work with your MP to bring services to the people.”
Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse confirmed that UDA was still the most vibrant and united party in the country.
The MP assured President William Ruto that, through the party, they would secure his victory for a second term in office as more members continued aligning themselves with his leadership.
Others who cemented their support for the party included Taveta MP John Bwire, who said the country was not ready to support tribal parties and that only UDA had a national outlook and equally represented all counties.
Principal Secretary for Higher Education Dr Beatrice Inyangala urged residents to rally behind UDA leadership, saying it was committed to bringing development to all Kenyans regardless of political affiliation.

She noted that the country was heading in the right direction, with the current government exploring ways to make Kenya a self-reliant nation.
The PS called on locals to rally behind the government now and in the future to fully enjoy the development benefits being offered.
Malava MP David Ndakwa agreed to continue supporting the government, noting that it had shown zeal in uplifting the livelihoods of the Malava people.
Ndakwa vowed to stand with the UDA West Kabras Ward candidate Elphas Shalakha to deliver the seat and continue drumming up support for President William Ruto’s second term.
West Kabras UDA MCA candidate Elphas Shalakha said he was ready to serve the ward and secure UDA votes that would see him, Ndakwa and President Ruto re-elected in 2027.
He requested fellow UDA aspirants who conceded defeat to support him and the party at all costs, as UDA looks forward to accommodating them in recognition of their unwavering support.
