Farouk ‘Akhonya’ Kibet, DG Ayub Savula join forces, escort Ndakwa across Malava villages
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate for the Malava MP’s seat David Ndakwa has intensified his campaigns, now visiting villages across the constituency to popularise his bid.
Accompanied by President William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet, christened ‘Akhonya’ and Kakamega Deputy Governor and DAP-K deputy party leader Ayub Savula, Ndakwa outlined his vision for the area, promising to prioritise development.
The trio reiterated Ruto’s commitment to continue with his development projects he has since initiated in the area, and to prove that, Ndakwa officially launched the tarmacking of Malava–Ikoli road, Phase II.
The locals expressed deep gratitude to the Kenya Kwanza Government for prioritizing them through improved road network.
In his address, Farouk vowed that the Kenya Kwanza government was committed to delivering better roads to ease business, better connectivity, and better opportunities for the locals.
The excited locals vowed to turn out in large numbers on November 27 and vote for Ndakwa as the next MP.
“Improving road networks is improving lives. Malava is moving forward. UDA is delivering. Hon. Ndakwa is the choice for progress,” said Farouk.
Earlier, he engaged with the Abato clan led by Mulupi Jawara.

Also in attendance was Butali-Chegulo MCA Kevin Mahelo, politicians Caleb Burudi, and Caleb Sunguti.
The clan resolved to throw their weight behind Ndakwa and expressed its desire to be in government as it hopes to establish a cultural center in Malava.
The centre, they said, would be vital in preserving the heritage of the Kabras people and fostering unity across the constituency.
They later visited Malekha area in Shirugu/Mugai Ward where Ndakwa highlighted his vision to prioritise education and improve infrastructure especially roads.
Afterwards, they landed at Timbito in Butali/Chegulo Ward represented by Mahelo where Farouk promised to return and lead a fundsdrive for the area’s women.
In Shilongo, the team rallied residents to back Ndakwa, insisting that the opposition’s divisive politics only threatens to hinder the constituency’s development agenda.
