Sponsors abandon Panyako as Ndakwa gains massive support in Malava
The United Democratic Alliance party (UDA) aspirant David Ndakwa is likely to win with a landslide in the race to replace late Malava Member of Parliament Malulu Injendi.
This has become evident with the massive support he has received from the grassroots following President William Ruto’s aide, Farouk Kibet’s, heightened forays in the area reaching out in every village with more than ten other separate teams campaigning.
On the other hand the Democratic Action party of Kenya candidate Seth Panyako campaigns have been halted for many days with close sources saying that some financiers have pulled out after they realised he was losing the battle to Ndakwa.
While Ndakwa campaigns are being built on development ideas with projects being launched day in out, Panyako many say is moving around with a team of individuals who have mastered personal attacks with no agenda.
Panyako’s main campaigners have chose tribal card which many say has no place in current Kenya.
Panyako has vowed to quit politics if he loses the November 27 by election, having lost twice in 2017 when he sought to become Kakamega senator, and in 2022, when he lost to the late Injendi.
