Eugene Wamalwa, Natembeya are cons, auctioning Luhyas to Gachagua, former ally says

The luhya nation has been warned against political cons led by Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and former defence minister and now Democratic Action Party of Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa.

The two have been accused of planning to sell the community to former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua for their own personal gain.

They have been asked to support the Kenya Kwanza administration under President William Ruto in readiness for succession after his two term comes to an end in 2032 where their own will be supported to ascend to power.

Wamalwa recently indicated that they would rally behind Gachagua for president in the coming general elections after it emerged that he had been given millions of shillings to sell the narrative when he knows well that the law does not allow an impeached person to hold any public office.

Caleb Burudi, who was his party member, said that the duo were Gachagua puppets.

Gachagua while in government was pushing for the employment of his kinsmen claiming they had the highest shares based on the vote they delivered to the president while at the same time segmenting the country on tribal and regional lines.

On several occasions, the president aide Farouk Kibet while on visits in the western region has assured the electorates that it would be wise if the next president comes from the region while rallying support towards prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi and speaker of National assembly Moses Wetang’ula.

The duo are the top most leaders from the region whose names feature widely as possible presidential candidates.
