Elders threaten to curse Malalah, see why

The Abatovo Council of Elders of the larger Kabras clan who reside in Malava constituency of Kakamega have vowed to converge and curse former Senator and Democratic for the Citizens Party deputy leader Cleophas Malalah.

The elders are accusing him of dancing on the grave of the late United Democratic Alliance party aspirant Dr Enock Andanje.

Led by the chair Alfred Muhatia, they said it was wrong for Malala to disrespect senior government leaders led by the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula on the soil of the clan.

The elders have accused Malalah of turning the burial ceremony of the late into a child’s play by playing loud unholy music, atop his car after he had castigated the two leaders who were at the ceremony as he left.

“He is not welcome in this area, again,” the elders said.

He has been given a week to apologise to the leaders and clan or face the wrath of the gods.

In their speech, the two leaders condemned the Malalah unbecoming behaviour, terming him a political con of the 20th century out to cause drama.

Malava community has vowed to rally and support the Kenya Kwanza government and will not conned by individuals who are out to gain political mileage through theatrics.
