Please, pay school fees, St Anthony Kakoyi Principal pleads with parents

One of the best performing Malava subcounty schools, St Anthony Kakoyi Secondary held its Annual General Meeting with speakers calling on parents to invest in their children’s education as it is the key to success.

The school principal, Linnet Kidiga, thanked the school board of management,parents and all education stakeholders for the for the support they give that has seen the growth of the institution whose population stands at over 1500 students.

She called on parents to pay fees on time to facilitate smooth running of academics that will see students even perform more excellently.

Kidiga noted that an educated society is already empowered while insisting on the parents to also ensure their children are brought up with the much needed discipline to face the life challenges.

West Kabras ward member of county assembly David Ndakwa who was present asked stakeholders never to politicize education matters but be ready at all times t9 support education programs and management of schools so as to provide conducive environment for good performances.

Ndakwa added that well-educated individuals are respected even in death and urged students to give priority to education, which he said would determine the type of life partners they marry.

The event was attended by area education officers who also put weight on the need for society to invest in education.
