Early Christmas for Lumasa pupils as Kanduyi MP unveils new classrooms
The Lumasa Primary School community in Kanduyi Constituency have reason to smile and look forward to a conducive learning environment.
This is following the unveilling of newly constructed classrooms at the institution by area MP John Makali.
Speaking during the event, Makali noted that he was thrilled to hand over the fully completed classrooms to the school in preparation for the new term in 2025 when schools reopen after the Christmas holiday.
“Three months back, we allocated Sh15.4M to seven primary schools in Tuuti-Marakaru Ward for the construction of additional classrooms.
“Today, I am thrilled to hand over some of the completed classrooms. When school resumes early next year, learners at Lumasa Primary School will have every reason to smile — more space means better focus and fewer distractions,” the MP said.
Makali added that his “commitment remains to consistently enhance and expand our educational facilities.”
“I urge parents to take good care of our learners while they are at home. We must ensure they are safe and supported—never again should we bear the shame of rising teen pregnancies. Let us work together to protect their future,” he noted.
