DCI sleeping on the job, international security expert says
International security expert Enock Makanga has has called out senior police and criminal investigation officers for sleeping on their job despite heavy funding from the government in the wake up of Kware killings in Mukuru kwa Njenga, Nairobi County.
The suspect Jumaisi Collins has been arrested in connection with the killings after self confession but more questions have emerged on how genuine it is.
Ordinarily, it is almost impossible for one person to commit such an act without being noticed even by neighbours.
More intriguing is the fact that Kware police station is just stationed less than 500 meters from the site where the bodies were dumped as well just a stone throw away from where the said suspect stays.
Makanga argues that the suspect who confessed to having killed over 42 women since 2021 has accomplices as even transporting bodies is an uphill task for an individual.
At the same time, Makanga hailed the president for dissolving his cabinet saying most of his cabinet secretaries were in the wrong departments where they had little or no information on how to run them hence the mess they caused to his government.
He has urged the president to consider qualified people for respective positions to avoid mismatch of skills for better service delivery.
