CHEKAI MUSA: Why Wetang’ula should retreat, go back to the people

I underestimated the influence of DP Kithure Kindiki within Mt Kenya East but he has proved to President William Ruto that indeed he can be relied upon to deliver half of Mt Kenya East. Yes he can.

He has also confirmed the report by the NIS that the position of the Deputy President will not be debated.

The only debate that will be encouraged around the position of the Deputy President is whether it will go to Murang’a/Nyeri or remain in Mt Kenya East.

The Luos and by extension ODM have also shown that they can easily deliver the votes to President William Ruto in 2027 but not more than 60%.

This is a good show though! It shows now that they can start talking. The question is: What is that that William Ruto will offer them so that they can pull the results to at least 80%?

This is a big question. But, wait first!

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, regardless of excessive State force he applied in Malava, has proved his trust to William Ruto.

He has simply told William Ruto to give him enough resources and he will deliver half of Kakamega, Vihiga and Busia. His position in government is not debatable.

The Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Masika Wetang’ula should take the Chwele-Kabuchai Ward by-election results positively and do an overhaul in the leadership of his political party and people close to him.

The future is not looking good. The ‘Bukusus’ are very ‘difficult human beings’ on earth.

If they make several unanswered calls to you or your staff, they start developing negative perceptions about you. They can punish you because of the mistakes of the people close to you.

The Ford Kenya party candidate lost in all the Polling Stations in Chwele-Kabuchai Ward, what a bad show.

This is something that should not be taken for granted. This simply means the Ford Kenya party is unpopular in the whole of Bungoma County and if nothing is done about it; no political aspirant would be interested in picking its ticket for any election.

They will be saying, if the Namakhele Polling Centre can reject the party, what about us?

He should retreat back to the people. William Ruto is not a good politician. He does not operate on trust but on the numbers that you bring to him! Wacha nikunywe maji kwanza nitarudi baadaye!
